🌄 Morning prayer

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

Inspiration

We cannot appreciate the magnitude of God’s gift of eternal life until we first understand that the wages of sin is death. Wages are what we “earned,” what we “deserve.” “Death” is not only physical death, here, but spiritual and eternal death. Our sin was an offense to the infinitely holy God, and thus justly deserved eternal punishment. But God’s grace, which was greater than all our sin, brings us eternal life instead.

Prayer

Lord, help us to see that your punishment for sin is just and to sense something of the true heinousness of sin. Help us to appreciate more fully how much we were forgiven, and having been forgiven much, to love much.

7 THINGS TO CARRY LIKE A CRATE OF EGGS đźĄš

  1. Your Name

Your name is very important and fragile. There are names that stinks in the ears of people simply because, those who bear those names spoilt the name. Your actions can rubbish your name. A good name can open doors for you & for your children and generations after you.
Carry your name with carefulness. It is a huge asset.

2: Your heart:

Many hearts are broken, shattered, wounded and bitter today. One of the factors responsible for this is because many of these hearts’ owners were careless with their hearts. You can guard your heart from being broken and bitter. Run away from people, and things that are bent on breaking your heart. Carry your heart like a crate of eggs.

3: Your purpose:

Your purpose is your destiny. If you don’t handle it with utmost care, it can slip off your hands, gaze and get broken. So many things can come like pressure on this crate of egg of purpose. Discouragement, lack of fund, anxieties, etc. These are things that may want to come like pressure on your purpose to break it. Carry your purpose away from people and things that may want to put pressure on it and break it.

4: Your health:

You have only this body as a vehicle that will carry you through your journey of destiny in this life. No matter how big your vision is, once you are dead, nobody can really run the vision like you! Fight for your health. Avoid things that can destroy your health.Don’t kill yourself before your time. Do your best to stay alive. WE STILL NEED YOU HERE ON EARTH. Don’t use your FORK, KNIFE, GLASS and your SPOON to dig your grave. Watch what you EAT and DRINK. Don’t eat anything because it is edible and don’t drink anything because it is appetizing. Always pray for divine immunization against sickness and diseases.

5: Your Marriage:

SO MANY PEOPLE HANDLE THEIR MARRIAGE LIKE A CARTON OF INDOMIE NODDLE. Your marriage is fragile. Handle it like a crate of egg. It must not break! A broken marriage is not easily put back together, because, when a marriage breaks, many things get broken with it. Remember, it takes two to tango. Husband and wife must always carry their marriage like an egg. It must not break!

6: Your words:

Your worth is attached to your words. Be careful with words. Once broken, you can’t gather them up again. Many people are careless with their words. They speak violently and carelessly. They make empty promises and break them. Some say things they later wish they never said. Guard your words. Be careful with your diction.

7: Your eternity:

Those who are running up and down to fulfill destiny here on Earth without thinking of their eternity do not belong here! The matter of eternity is not something you should handle with levity. Think about where you will spend eternity, You will die one day. I will also die one day. All that we are and have in this world are vanity upon vanity.

Take the matter of your end very serious. Stop living carelessly as if you have extra life. Don’t live for the pleasure of this world. Have the hereafter in mind in all that you do.

Do good without ceasing

Let us be humble in all our dealings, never taking credit for what others have done but giving credit to the one owed. For as long as we do good, our reward in heaven will never fade; whatever we bind here, God will bind in heaven.

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” (Galatians 6:9-10)

Our trust is in the Lord. He knows what is good and beneficial for us as we move toward becoming like Him. When we do good, we are His to do as He pleases. He is the one who will receive the glory and He is the one who will give us the reward.

Let us not grow exhausted of doing good. Our joy comes from doing God’s will as Jesus had done when He gave Himself for us. Could we give more than Christ had given? Our will should be God’s will, for that is how we grow to become like Him.

Finally, brethren, do not hold back God’s spirit from performing a good work with your hands. He will surely bless you for allowing Him to use you in every way He could use you. He is not one to show favoritism to gain advantage. Therefore, do good without ceasing.

Good morning

The lord will provide

When all hope is lost is when the Lord will provide the most. He will lift us from calamity. He will lead us away from strife. He will cover us with His power so that we do not need to be anxious in the day of persecution. He will protect us.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
whose trust is the Lord.
He is like a tree planted by water,
that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
for it does not cease to bear fruit.

(Jeremiah 17:7-8)

No evil in the world can overcome the Lord. He is good and faithful to His word. He will not let the guilty go unpunished. His judgments are sure, right and just. No one is like the Lord, for His mercies will never fail. His blessings for our lives are provisions for our souls.

Let us not be anxious for all the things that may ail us. We have the Lord’s steadfast love to comfort us. We have His faithfulness as an assurance toward the promises to come. No one can come between the Lord our God and us.

In all things, therefore, let us give thanks to the Lord our God; He is good. He will give of what He has and will raise us back to our feet. No matter how painful a trial we face, He will not allow us to stumble.

Have a wonderful night rest.

Trust in the lord

Trust in the Lord in all you do, and He will bless you without restraint. His goodness is great, His mercy is sure, and He will give you of His abundance so that you can live according to His will.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.
Be not wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
It will be healing to your flesh
and refreshment to your bones.

(Proverbs 3:5-8)

The Lord is good in all of His ways. He discerns the spirit, gives to the humble and calls the lost into the fold. He gives wisdom to His shepherds and His judgments are righteous. All good things come from the Lord.

Give heed to the Lord’s wonderful spirit. Trust in all that He does. He will look after us. He will take care of us. There is no need to worry with the Lord on our side. He will fight our battles and win.

All glory belongs to the Lord our God. His power is from everlasting to everlasting. Let us give of our hearts to Him and He will richly reward us with joy, peace and grace. No one can come between our God and us, therefore trust in the Lord.

Happy lord’s day.

NIGHT PRAYER

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? (Micah 6:8).

INSPIRATION

God’s requirements for us are very simple – to follow His guidance. His guidance will always lead us to living right, showing mercy and love in all we do. It is through these ways, we show the world who God truly is.

PRAYER

Dear God, I pray that in all I do, may it be according to the will you have for me life. May my life show the world that you are a loving God who delights in showing mercy. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

WE HAVE SALVATION THROUGH CHRIST

Living through these difficult days, we have assurance of one thing: we have salvation through Christ. For as disease might threaten us and calamity might surround us, God will hold true to His promise that all those who believe Jesus is the Christ will be saved.

“God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:8-10)

God so loved us while we were yet sinners that He surrendered eternity to live among us and die among us for our stead. Even more so, for as all who are in Adam shall die, so all who are in Christ shall live, since He died on our cross and through no other shall we live.

Knowing Jesus gave Himself for us, we are now to rejoice, to give thanks and to praise God for His gracious gift. For He has blessed us with hope, joy and peace, redeeming us to Him, through Christ, which no one can set aside.

Our hope is in God’s grace, and through God’s grace, we have salvation through Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Amen.

THE CHURCH OF CHRIST

Who are the churches of Christ and what do they believe in?

We are undenominational and have no central headquarters or president. The head of the church is none other than Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23).

Each congregation of the churches of Christ is autonomous, and it is the Word of God that unites us into One Faith (Ephesians 4:3-6). We follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and his holy Apostles, and not the teachings of man. We are Christians only!
